Description
This painting features a young teen female engrossed in working on something on the floor. She has her blonde hair French braided and it is backlit creating a glow like a halo while wearing a shirt labeling her a �brat�. This painting won an several awards and was accepted in the prestigious annual show of the Transparent Watercolor Society in Chicago 2006. It was done in my signature, portraiture technique of building up layers of luminous color to create faces that seem to pulse with life.
