Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

This oil on panel incorporates many transitions, most obvious is the black and white (actually dark purple black and white) graphic pattern to realistic plant, but also the underlying French wall paper fades out on one side and transitions to partially painted on the bottom. It is also titled transitions because it was this painting that made me decide to stop painting such precise patterns.

Heidi E Nelson

Heidi E. Nelson has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in oil painting and pursued a fine art career in the Louisville/Cincinnati area, while working in graphic design to make a living. Gradually she focused more on pursuing a free-lance commercial illustration business. Upon moving back to Minnesota in 1994, she shifted focus while staying home to raise two young daughters; there she again started fine art painting for herself, painting from pictures of her beloved girls in watercolor. She has been seriously teaching in numerous venues in the Twin Cities since 2000, teaching drawing and painting in all mediums to students of all ages and abilities, with a talent for teaching beginning classes in a methodical step-by-step way.
